Our clay classes combine hands-on learning with plenty of creative fun! Kids, teens, and adults learn to shape, build, sculpt, decorate, and glaze their own ceramic pieces in a welcoming studio—with guidance along the way and room to make each project their own.

Depending on the class and age group, students explore pinch pots, coil building, slab construction, and sculpture, with wheel throwing offered in select classes. From imaginative creations to functional bowls and mugs, projects introduce concepts like shape, texture, color, and form while teaching real ceramic techniques.

Working with clay gives students opportunities to practice fine-motor coordination, plan designs, solve problems, and try new approaches. We combine guided projects with creative freedom, celebrating curiosity, individual expression, and the process.

Kids Clay Classes

LITTLE CLAY CREATORS (TK-2ND)

MONDAYS 4:00-5:30 4 WEEK COURSE

Young artists will learn the basics of clay through hands-on projects, exploring hand-building, coiling, shaping, texture, and other fun clay techniques.

TUESDAYS 4:00-5:30 4 WEEK COURSE

From throwing on the wheel to building by hand, students will experiment with different techniques, textures, and forms—and learn how to glaze and finish their creations.
